Bhaiaji Superhit Music Review

Bhaiaji Superhit Music Review
Music By – Jeet Gannguli, Raghav Sachar, Chandan Saxena, Amjad-Nadeem, Sanjeev- Darshan, Neeraj Pathak.
After much-delay, Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta starrer Bhaiyyaji Superhittt is releasing this month. While the trailer of the action comedy which came out last month received lukewarm response, it’s time to check out the music of the film and see if it’s any better. So let’s get start!
Bhaiaji Superhitt Music Review
Bhaiaji Superhit Music Review – Sleepy Sleepy Akhiyan
First up is Sleepy Sleepy Akhiyan which is sung by Asees Kaur and Yasser Desai. The wedding number starts off with peppy music and that’s the only good thing about this song. Almost a minute into it and I wanted to sleep instead of listen to Sleepy Sleepy Akhiyan. Music composer Jeet Gannguli and lyricist Kumaar have tried hard to come up with a catchy song but the lyrics are a big, big disappointment. Better to skip this one.
Bhaiaji Superhit Music Review – Do Naina
Do Naina, which is next on the album, is sung by Aakanksha Sharma and Yasser Desai once again. This romantic track is pretty decent. The soft music and beautiful lyrics do work together. However, Do Naina sounded more like a mash up of popular romantic numbers rather than an authentic one. Anyway, you can still add this song to your playlist and listen to it once.
Bhaiaji Superhit Music Review – Do Naina (Shafqat’s Version)
There’s another version of Do Naina which is sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali and Aakanksha. The lyrics are the same but the treatment of the music is different. This one is more subtle, smoothing and engaging courtesy Shafqat’s beautiful voice.
Bhaiaji Superhit Music Review – Om Namah Shivay
Om Namah Shivay is sung by four singers – Sukhwinder Singh, Raghav Sachar, Aakanksha Sharma and Raftaar. And while all of them are good at their craft, the song just doesn’t work at any level. Neither the lyrics nor the music is attention grabbing. While listening to this song, all I was thinking about was the Shivaay title track and wanted to switch immediately. Now that’s clearly not a good sign, is it?
Bhaiaji Superhit Music Review – Naam Hai Bhaiaji
Next song which is Naam Hai Bhaiaji has been crooned by Amit Mishra and Raftaar. Frankly speaking, the only part that somewhat works for this track is the rap in-between by Raftaar. Otherwise, this gangster number is pretty much blah, just like most of the songs in the album.
Bhaiaji Superhit Music Review – Baby Jaanleva Hai
There is an item song in the film as well titled Baby Jaanleva Hai which is sung by Pawni Pandey and Yasser Desai. As I expected, the track didn’t impress me at all. I mean the lyrics are so bad; I started wondering if we are still in the 90s. As soon as the song started playing, I knew it wasn’t worth hearing even for a whole minute. Yes, that’s how trashy this number is.
Apart from Do Naina, there is hardly anything that Bhaiaji Superhittt offers in terms of good music. So should you listen to the album? Absolutely no, unless you have too much time to kill and don’t mind hearing songs that make no sense.
